Oberfeldwebel Gunther STEIN - Knights Cross
Served as a radio operator/ gunner with 6./KG2 flying Dornier 17 bombers during the Battle of Britain. Continued to fly operations against the UK [164!] and converted to the Dornier 217 in 1943. Credited with two British nightfighters shot down. On 15.03.43 during a raid on harbour installations at Grimsby his Dornier finally fell to a British nightfighter.

Hauptmann Heinrich SCHLOSSER - Knights Cross
Flying the huge Fw200 'Condor' with KG40, Schlosser attacked and sank the "Van Dyk" at Narvik, Norway. He continued to attack British Convoys and sank shipping to a total of 55,000 BRT. He was then transferred to 10. KG40 to fly supply missions to the beleaguered defenders of Stalingrad in the Heinkel 177.

Genlt Adolf Galland - 104 victories - led JG26 during the Battle of Britain
Major Hartmann Grasser flew the Me110 destroyer with ZG52 and then II/ZG2 during the French campaign and the Battle of Britain. He transferred to the Geschwaderstab of JG51 inFebruary 1941 where his victories started to mount. He was later Kommandeur of III/JG1. Total victories 103 in 700 missions. Hartmann Grasser passed away in 1986. A rare signature.

FDC SIGNED BY GENERALLEUTNANT ADOLF GALLAND AND OBERLEUTNANT HEINZ KEMETHMULLER - JG26 - KNIGHTS CROSS
Kemethmuller initially served with JG3 before transferring to JG26 in 1942. He was staffelkapitan of 4./JG26 and was awarded the Knights Cross in October 1942. He fought over the invasion front and even had his Fw190 equipped with 21cm rocket tubes. He scored 89 victories and was nominated for the Oak Leaves. Heinz Kemethmuller passed away in 1984
Details of both signatories and two photos included. This is number 5 of only 18 examples.
Kemethmuller is a rare signature.

Cover signed by Leutnant Willi NOLLER - KNIGHTS CROSS
One of the most successful pilots of St.G.2, Noller served most of his career on the eastern front. By 1943 he had already racked up 500 missions [!!] including those over Stalingrad. The hectic pace continued, Noller converting fron the Ju87 to the more survivable Fw190. Noller flew a total of 1058 missions, destroyed 86 tanks and two air victories.

KNIGHTS CROSS WITH OAK LEAVES
Huy started his Luftwaffe career in 1939 with JG77, scoring his first victories over Dunkirk the following year. JG77 were assigned to the mediterranean theatre where Huy started to equip his 109 with bombs and attack Royal Navy ships, sinking several and, on one occasion, damaging the battleship HMS Warspite. Huy was shot down over North africa and taken prisoner. He scored a total of 40 victories

Sgt Joan Mortimer was the first WAAF to be awarded the Military Medal for bravery - on 18th August 1940, Biggin Hill was hit hard by Luftwaffe attacks - Sgt Mortimer went out, before the 'all clear' was sounded to mark out the position of unexploded bombs with red flags - evemn when one went off close by!!
Corporal Green was in charge of the plotters in the Operations room at Biggin Hill on 31st August 1940 when it received a direct bomb hit during a Luftwaffe attack. Despite the carnage all around her she continued with her duties regardless and was awarded the Military Medal.
