This wonderful Pencil Print release by Nicolas Trudgian was one of three published in conjuction with the Aces High Gallery and was limted to only 300 copies of each.

'Safely Home' depicts the close bound between the men of Bomber Command - and those flying the fighters. A lone Lancaster struggles home after a long and hard mission into Germany, one propeller has been 'feathered' due to damage sustained in the attack.  The Hurricanes of 1 Squadron have now joined the injured 'heavy' over the beautiful scenary of Pin Mill in Suffolk and will escort her safely home.
