HURRICANE OF GEOFFREY PAGE 56 SQUADRON - BATTLE OF BRITAIN - Original Pencil Drawing by Nicolas Trudgian
In the thick of the fighting from the very first day of the Battle of Britain (10th July), 56 Squadron was one of the few Units to serve throughout the Battle without a break. Flying the Hurricane throughout the battle, primarily from North Weald airfield in Essex, 56 Squadron boasted several aces but none more famous than Geoffrey Page.
This superb Drawing of Geoffrey Page's Hurricane returning to North Weald in August 1940.
The Drawing is Signed by Artist Nicolas Trudgian and FOUR Battle of Britain veterans who served with 56 Squadron:-

PILOT OFFICER FREDERICK 'TAFFY' HIGGINSON - 56 Squadron
SQUADRON LEADER HERBERT PINFOLD - 56 Squadron
SERGEANT PETER FOX - 56 Squadron
