This fabulous image was released way back in 1993 and was an immediate hit with collectors. 'Winter Patrol' depicts a schwarm of Me109G's led by Gunther Rall of JG52 as they patrol through the Caucasus mountains in November 1942. 

JG52 produced the top three highest scoring Aces in aviation history - Erich Hartmann, Gerd Barkhorn and Gunther Rall. They were also the top scoring Jagdgeschwader of the Luftwaffe in WW2, spending most of the war fighting on the gruelling eastern front against the Soviets and their allies. .
