DAWN OPERATIONS By Robert Taylor

UNIQUE SPECIAL 15 SIGNATURE COPY

Some of the rarest subjects in Robert Taylor's catalogue are those featuring Japanese aircraft from WW2. One of the rarest is 'Dawn Operations', which was released back in 1996 and features a scene on the southern tip of Bougainville. A Mitsubishi F1M2 floatplane - Allied Codename 'Pete' - prepares for it's first Recce flight of the day. The serenity of the scene is shattered by the noisy arrival of a pair of Mitsubishi A6M Zero fighters from a nearby Japanese carrier. Out in the bay a couple of japanese cruisers are preparing to sail as the Sun barely rises on the horizon.
