RETURN OF THE FEW By Robert Taylor - REMARQUE Edition
One of Robert Taylor's most iconic early Prints featuring the immortal Spitfire from the Battle of Britain, 'Return Of The Few' is now a very rare print on the Secondary market.
Released way back in 1986 during the early years of Aviation Art 'Return of the few' features the Spitfire 1a's of 92 Squadron as they return to base from yet another tussle with the Luftwaffe out over the sea. As they near the coast the low-flying Spitfires encounter fishing trawlers plying their trade in an increasingly heavy swell.
Full of wonderful detail, this print has become a firm favourite with collectors.
