COLLECTORS LIMITED EDITION with Print 'SIGH OF THE MERLIN'
When Robert's third Volume of Paintings was released back in 1996 it proved to be immediately popular with collectors. The Limited Collectors Edition comprised a First Edition Copy of the Book with a Matching numbered companion print 'Sigh of the Merlin'.
The Volume III Book comes in a Lavish cloth slipcase with gold-blocked signature and is signed and numbered by Robert Taylor. It contains 75 colour plates and over 100 drawings documenting Robert's then most current works.
'SIGH OF THE MERLIN' - Matching Print
As the companion Print subject Robert chose the peerless Spitfire and depicts two Spitfire 1a's of 610 Squadron based at RAF Biggin Hill flying high in the evening sunlight above London during the Summer of 1940.
The Print is Signed by Artist Robert Taylor and TWO famous pilots forever associated with the Spitfire:-
