Released in August 2000 as part of Nick's 'Millenium Series' this print depicts the A-26 Invaders of the 386th Bomb Group. Taking delivery of their new aircraft in September 1944 they were ready to take part in the 'Battle of the Bulge' and later they continued to strike hard at targets in Germany itself, with low level attacks being a speciality.

Nick's release shows the A-26's arriving at speed over a busy German rail yard in the heart of the Ruhr valley, barely skimming the nearby chimney stacks. With bombs away, the Invader crews strafe the area before departing leaving a trail of destruction in their wake.
