THE BIFF BOYS BY ROBERT TAYLOR
One of only a handful of WW1 subjects painted by Robert, 'The Biff Boys' portrays one of the classic Great War aircraft - the Bristol F2B fighter. The Bristol Fighter or 'Biff' as it was known was a superb two-seater that could mix it up with the best enemy scouts.
Robert has chosen to portray the 'Ace' crew of Lt. Andrew McKeever and his gunner Lt Powell of 11 Squadron high over Cambrai in November 1917. They have come under attack by a pair of enemy Albatros DV's but the alert Powell has already hit the lead Albatros with fire.
The Print measures 30 x 23 Inches
The Main Print also comes with a matching numbered Drawing Print 'Camels On Patrol' which has been signed by WW1 veteran fighter pilot:-
FIRST LIEUTENANT HENRY BOTTERELL
Both Prints are in excellent Condition and come with the COA.
